Kind Wishes

Check in on your breath, your body and your thoughts. Really check in.

Active, tense, soft, distracted, closed, or calm? Just notice.

Wonder where Kind Wishes practice is going? You’ll know by the end, when you check in again.

Enjoy your practice…

Kind Wishes

Get comfortable and somewhat still.
Your eyes might close. It’s up to you.

Your first wish is for you.

Make a kind wish for yourself, in words, in pictures, or in whatever form wishes take in you.
For a few moments, hold that wish in your mind, in your heart.

Now make a kind wish for someone you hardly know, whoever comes to mind.

Use words, pictures or whatever form wishes take in you.
For a few moments, hold that wish in your mind, in your heart.

And now, make a kind wish for someone who bothers you, whoever comes to mind.

Make a wish for them – in words, in pictures – again – however wishes emerge in you.
For a few moments, hold that kind wish for them in your heart, in your mind.

Now, let those wishes go. Let those wishes settle wherever they may.
Again, check in on your breath, your body, and your thoughts.
Active, tense, soft, distracted, closed, calm? Just notice.

This is your unique practice.

Do you notice a change, however small, from when you started?

If yes, how would you describe that change to someone else?

If no, not a problem, noticing no change is actually practice too.

Kind Wishes created, practice complete.
